We haven’t told a ton of people about this album, but the ones that we’ve told have asked us one very important question: is it going to be awesome? And the anwer is yes, it is going to be very awesome.
We’re not recording traditional Christmas songs. Rather, we’ve written a series of songs about Christmas, but they’re done in Favorites-style. Which means you’re going to get some hilarity mixed in with some poignant moments, but most of all you’re going to get killer hooks and melodies.
We’re shooting for a November release. It’ll be available on iTunes only.
For constant updates on the recording process, you’re going to need to pay attention to our Twitter. B-Ford will constantly update that thing with the latest in awesomeness, so follow us.
We’ve been nominated in the Best Rock Act category for the Houston Press Music Awards!
The voting will begin on July 2nd and culminate on July 26th, when the winners will be announced at the 2009 award show at the Verizon Wireless theater.
We’ll let you know when you can start doing another good deed (by voting for us to win the whole thing), but until such time, we just wanted to say thanks again to all of you for helping us get on the ballot.
